Greetings QB Family,
Last Thursday evening the QB Board met electronically for their monthly meeting. Here are some of the highlights from this meeting as well as the previous month’s meeting for your information:
- The Board welcomed the new members; Dr Nick Kikuchi and Ps Pierre Joubert.
- Rev Nathan Harris was appointed Chair of the QB Board and Mr James Tan was appointed Vice Chair.
- Rev Mark Mackay was appointed to the Ministerial Services Committee.
- Mrs Jordan Smith was appointed to Baplink Management Committee and BMC Chair role.
- The Board reflected on the recent QB Awaken Conference with overwhelmingly positive feedback being received.
- The Board adopted in principle the recommendations of the QB Governance Review Working Group report.
- Endorsement was given to a plan to implement the AICD NFP Governance Principles, as well as a proposal to integrate this plan with recommendations from the QB Governance Review Working Group report. This will provide the Board with a pathway to continuous governance improvement.
- The Board adopted a Board Governance Reflection Process based on AICD principles of continuous Governance improvement.
- A Carinity Incorporation framing document which details the desired outcomes of the incorporation of Carinity was ratified. This document will contribute to a framework for the engagement of a legal firm to advance the incorporation project.
