To support churches in creating safer, healthier environments for all our Children, a suite of updated Safe Spaces resources has been developed and is now available to download. These templates form the foundational documents to ensure your Church is compliant with the new Child Safe Organisation Act 2024 – which Churches must start implementation from 1 April 2026.
The foundational documents – including the Safe Spaces Safeguarding Policy (Church Template), Cultural Safety and Equity Policy, Code of Conduct for Staff and Volunteers, and Statement of Commitment are available to be downloaded, customised with for your church, and approved by your Governance Group to form your Safeguarding practices for your Church.
