- Jordan Smith was appointed as the interim Chair of the Baplink Management Council.
- The Board approved changes to the Registration & Ordination Guidelines for QB Pastors which have been updated to allow for the implementation of a new Recognised Ministry Worker category of accreditation.
- The Board approved the outcomes of a biennial review of Regional Ministers, confirming all appointment and reappointment recommendations. This includes the new appointment of Warren Kercher as Regional Minister for Metro North. (Refer to the table for the complete list of appointments.)
- CEO of Carinity, Kevin Griffiths, joined the Board to present his report and highlight key compliance aspects of Carinity’s highly regulated Age Care and Schooling operations.
- Emily Banks, QB’s Safe Spaces Coordinator, joined the Board meeting to present the new QB Safe Spaces Safeguarding Policy, the Safe Spaces Safeguarding Policy Church Template and the Church Cultural Safety Template all of which comply with the new Child Safety Standards.
