Encountering God at the P11 Summit

Home / Encountering God at the P11 Summit

Just under 3 years ago we started praying together, asking the LORD to help us raise up the next generation of servant leaders. After much prayer ‘Project 11’ was born. Project 11 is a yearlong leadership development program for emerging leaders, facilitated in the local church and resourced by QB.

This past weekend we held the very first Project 11 leadership summit. The conference was a three-day leadership retreat and the climax of the P11 experience. Over 130 emerging leaders and 44 mentors attended.

The Holy Spirit moved in power as the Word of God was powerfully taught and Christ was exalted. Many participants left with a renewed intimacy with Christ and sensing the next step in their leadership journey. For me it was amazing to see all the parts of our movement come together – from QCCC, to Maylon Theological and Vocational Colleges, to Carinity and local churches. As someone new to our movement, I am hoping that the gospel fire that God ignited in the hearts of young leaders will bring refreshment to our churches over the coming days and weeks, and much fruit in the years ahead.

A big thank you to QCCC for their generosity in sponsoring the conference venue, accommodation and meals at no cost to our participants, the excellent team of servants at QB who helped pull off this inaugural event, and also Jonathan Harris and the creative arts team from Bridgeman Baptist Community Church who led us in corporate worship.
