Naomi Wilson from Creative Therapy Solutions is offering a two-hour, in-person training session designed to equip church teams to better support children with diverse abilities. Naomi brings a rare and valuable blend of experience as a Senior Social Worker with over 20 years of clinical practice, a parent, and someone deeply embedded in church ministry. Her training is particularly beneficial for churches in regional and remote areas, where access to specialist expertise is often limited.
In 2026, Naomi will be travelling around Australia and is available to deliver training sessions in North Queensland in May and South Queensland in June.
The training is suitable for groups of 3 to 50 people and can be hosted by a single church or collaboratively by multiple churches within a community. Sessions are interactive and practical, combining core teaching with group discussion and real-life application. Naomi’s approach affirms the value of people with diverse needs and helps churches respond with confidence, empathy and love in an era of increasing neurodiverse diagnoses.
Feedback from churches has been overwhelmingly positive. Leaders describe the workshops as engaging, practical and deeply encouraging—equipping volunteers while also helping families feel seen, valued and supported.
